On Tuesday I attended the my first BarCamp Meet-Up at the 12th South Tap room. I really didn't know what to expect. So I recorded a down and dirty podcast about the event. It was a good discussion about what worked, what didn't and where BarCamp Nashville going. BarCamp Nashville was held this past August at the Exit/In and is a one day technology love fest featuring blogging, podcasting, social networking, new media marketing, a little gaming and more. (Let me know if I missed something)
This show runs about 25 minutes and contains an interview with Marcus Whitney (twitter, facebook) of RemarkableWIT and Dave Delaney (twitter, facebook) of Two Boobs & a Baby Plus podcast and Emma. They are the founders and organizers of BarCamp Nashville. We cover the full gambit from success of BarCamp Nashville, to how it started, where it's possibly going and finally other plans until next year. At the end I pulled a song from the Podsafe Music Network throwing in some original music.
Show Notes:
- Marcus Whitney (twitter, facebook) of RemarkableWIT and founder of BarCamp Nashville
- Dave Delaney (twitter, facebook) of Two Boobs & a Baby Plus podcast and Emma. And also a founder of BarCamp Nashville
- Six Pixels of Separation - Mitch Joel (twitter, facebook)
Music:
- The Crowd - I Don't Want to Hear These Things (via Pod Safe Music Network)
