Nashville Weekend It List: Umbrellas and Opera edition

It is insanely beautiful out! There isn’t a lot going on this weekend in the way of live music, but the beautiful weather ought to make for a great time.

Well…May is certainly getting off to a lovely start. Rain, rain and more rain…for the next 7 days. Woohoo! No worries, though. You might have to give the patio a rest, but there is plenty of goodness happening indoors.

Friday!

  • The Rabbit Release Party at the Dirty Eye Warehouse featuring Caitlin Rose and Hammertorch, The Hollywood Ten, Evan P. Donahue, The Deep Vibration and Heypenny. 6pm ($10 includes beer from Yazoo and Lazy Magnolia)
  • Mainstreet Jazz Festival on the square in Murfreesboro. 6pm
  • The Blacklist Royals w/ Joshua Black Wilkins, Six Gun Lullaby, Foundation & Your Favorite Hero at The End. 9pm
  • Grooveyard featuring John Cowan, Reese Wynans, Pat Buchanan at 3rd & Lindsley. 7pm

Saturday!

  • Mainstreet Jazz Festival in Murfreesboro.
  • DB Harris and the Men of Action at the Family Wash. 9pm
  • Scott Miller and the Commonwealth at Mercy Lounge. 9pm

Sunday!

  • Noah Liff Opera Center Grand Opening. 3-5pm (Free and great for families!)
