This dreadful week is finally coming to a close…I couldn’t be happier. Looks like it is going to be a busy weekend between Second City, a cornucopia of rock shows and this weekends opening of A Town Called Panic at the Belcourt. I’m certainly not complaining.
Friday, February 26:
- Second City Touring Co. at Vanderbilt’s Sarratt Cinema. 7pm and 10pm ($51)
- EP3, The Malah, This Is ART & Thunderbear LOUNGE: The Iveys w/ Veronica Ballestrini & Adam Burrows at 12th & Porter. 7pm
- Chris Mitchell and the Collection CD Release featuring Kristi Rose and Pulp Country at 3rd & Lindsley. 10pm
- Chris Scruggs w/ Cheer Up Charlie Daniels, Justin and the Cosmics & more at The Basement. 9pm
- My So Called Band w/ The Dozen Dimes at Mercy Lounge. 9pm
Saturday, February 27:
- Mandy Barnett at 3rd & Lindsley. 7pm
- Help Haiti Live hosted by Big Kenny featuring Alison Krauss & Union Station at the Ryman Auditorium. 7:30pm
- Cassino CD Release Show featuring Korean Is Asian & Tristen at the Basement. 9pm
Sunday, February 28:
- Not a lot happening. Catch a movie, take a breather…or recover from the previous two nights.
Have a fantastic weekend! Cheers, J.
