Happy Friday the 13th! It looks like Mr. Voorhies is steering clear this weekend, but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t celebrate this day and the weekend!
Friday, August 13:

- The Greatest Decade, Vol. 2: I’m So Bored With the U.S.A.: A Tribute to The Clash, The Ramones & The Sex Pistols at Mercy Lounge. 9pm ($5)
- Kink Ador w/ Blue Heart Hour, Vicious Guns & more at The Basement. 9pm ($5)
Saturday, August 14:

- Dragon Boat Races and River Festival at Riverfront Park. 8:30am
- 2nd Saturday Outdoor Cinema at the Belcourt. This month’s film is The Graduate. Sundown/7:30pm (Free!!!)
Sunday, August 15:
- Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School at the 5 Spot. This sounds like a lot of fun! Their motto is, “Dr. Sketchy’s is what happens when cabaret meets art school.” Check out http://drsketchy.com for more details. 5-8pm ($10)
As always—if you have anything to add to the list, leave a comment! Have an excellent and machete-free weekend!!
Cheers,
