Happy weekending! I'm a bit embarassed to say that I just realized that this weekend is Labor Day weekend. No work Monday, woohoo!!! There is a ton of great stuff happening, so in between beers and barbecue, check it out!
There is a great festival happening out in one of Middle Tennessee's most historical towns, Adams. The headjamz Music Festival features camping, canoeing the Red River, disc golf and a ton of great artists (including The Emmit Nershi Band, Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, and Cornmeal…plus a ton of other great local and national acts). It's going to be a beautiful weekend, too.
If you stick around town this weekend, you DEFINITELY want to make it to the Belcourt to see this weekend's midnight movie, Gone With the Pope (unless you are easily offended, in that case…skip it). Check out the trailer on the Belcourt's website, but be warned…not safe for work.
